  Maytag refrigerator stopped working. Called them hoping to get someone familiar with my appliance and hopefully have parts if needed. $127.50 to diagnose. I was okay with that, until I watched him struggle to use his multi meter on a fridge I had already pulled out and removed the back panel. Nice guy. Been working there three years. Compressor needs replacing. $480 for compressor, $500 for labor, additional for coolant recovery and coolant. I don't think I paid as much for the refrigerator new as the repair estimate, and I'm already out $127.50. I can't recommend this company if you hope to save money. I don't mind paying more to get more, but I don't feel they offer anything extra besides the cost.
