  I went in for a second opinion on a Rolex that I had been left from my grandfather. I had already had an appraisal from another watch buyer/re-seller in STL and had done decent amount of online research on the piece. Tom offered me $1000 for the watch. After politely packing my offers up I told him that I had already been offered $9500 for the same item, he quickly changed his bid and with little to no research on the watch offered me $10,000 for it. It could not be any more clear that he was trying to take advantage of what he assumed was an uninformed customer. If you go into this shop, please be aware of what you have before you enter.
